RENEE KHATAMI grew up in Manhattan with an Iranian father and American mother.
She studied art (Bard College), design (Pratt Institute), and worked as an award
winning book designer. After earning a masters in art education (New York University),
her two children’s books on color (Random House) were published.
Now she is solely focused on her artwork.
